Transportation & Getting Around

Sydney is well connected by air, rail, and road. UTS is situated in the heart of the city, making it easily accessible from Sydney Airport and all major accommodation areas.

By Air

Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (SYD) is Australia's busiest international airport, with direct flights from major cities across Asia, Europe, North America, and the Pacific. The airport is approximately 10 km from the UTS campus.

Airport to City

The Airport Link train connects Sydney Airport to the CBD in approximately 13 minutes. Trains run every 10 minutes and stop at Central Station, which is a short walk from UTS. Taxis and rideshare services are also readily available.

Public Transport

UTS is served by multiple bus routes and is a short walk from Central Station (trains) and Paddy's Markets light rail stop. The Opal card is the recommended way to pay for all public transport in Sydney.

By Car

UTS is located on Broadway in Ultimo. Wilson Parking at UTS and several nearby commercial car parks are available. Note that parking in the CBD can be expensive; public transport is strongly recommended.
